We at South Sparta Church announce that Marjorie Meyers passed away on April 29th at the Dearborn County Hospital at age 88. Marjorie was one of the most inspirational people in the community. She was a huge leader for South Sparta Church by singing along with everybody with her son Chris playing the Piano. She frequently attended Moores Hill First Baptist Church and at one time was the choir director and even a Deacon for many years. She also was a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years and sang at the nursing home in her later years. She made everyone smile and She was united with Jesus Christ in her life, something We should all do. Just as Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount: 

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. -Matthew 5:4
