  
THE FOOTSTEPS OF GOD Sometimes after a new-fallen snow you can hear them. Often in the cool of the evening a hushed-whisper seems to be moving among the tops of the trees of the forest. All nature comes to attention during these sacred moments. It's that unseen presence that seems to be looking over your shoulder and in your heart you know you are on sacred ground. These moments in time bring alive the senses and deep within your soul you know you are hearing the Footsteps of God. They come unexpected during times of great heartache as well as times of extreme joy. The Footsteps of God come softly like a cool breeze on a hot summer's day and it feels as if someone is calling your name. It's that gentle knocking at your heart and that unseen presence tugging at your soul saying--walk further down the snow-covered path and come deeper into the forest and I will show you new wonders to behold.
